Town: Estelline, Texas
Deaf dog: Boo is an 8 year old Border collie/Kelpie. Boo
was brought to me because I am a interpreter for the Deaf. His owner
was going to kill him because he said he was worthless. He has been
a joy in my life for 8 years. I also use him in teaching lessons
to Deaf children about street saftey. He is wonderful dog and I
would love to have another.
Human companions: Keely Tippett and husband. My husband takes
Boo with him when he goes to feed cattle, he loves to ride in the
back of the truck.
Other pets: Skeeter is a 1 year old Jack Russell with lots
of energy.

Zeus
|
Town: Amarillo, Texas
Deaf dog: Zeus is a 1 year old Great Dane. Zeus is the best
thing that happened to us. Although we love all of our dogs and
enjoyed helping out Great Dane and Dalmatian rescues, Zeus really
stands out. He is so smart and capitalizes on his other keen senses.
He has a terrific, funny, loving personality! I would not change
a thing about him. When we adopt more Great Danes, we'll be looking
specifically for deaf ones. He's such a blessing!
Human companions: Michael, Carol, Annika & Quinlan Anderson
Other pets: 2 other rescued Great Danes and 1 Dalmatian
