Danzig and Lemmy
Town: Adelaide, South Australia
Deaf dogs: Danzig is just a pup who we bought from interstate. As he is a white boxer we asked if he was deaf and were assured he was not, but when we got him we soon realized he was and now we would not have it any other way.It is a challenge but we have another dog who is helping us all the way

Hugo

Town: Adelaide, South Australia
Deaf dogs: Hugo is a 12 week old Great Dane. Hugo was purchased from a breeder in Bendigo. I couldn't decide whether to get a pup as it was easier to train, or a rescue dog, as I disagree with how many people breed dogs, considering how many there are in shelters already! In the end, I got a dog who needed rescuing, was a pup, from a breeder. I'm finding training challenging but rewarding, but in the end his sweet sensitive nature make it all worthwile!
Human companions: Jennifer
Other pets: 2 Ducks and a Turtle

Hugo

Town: Adelaide, South Australia
Deaf dogs: Hugo is a one year old Boxer. Hugo is better behaved than my hearing dogs! He is a very sensitive gentle soul. I managed to save him from the person who bred him as he was going to be shot. I think I was meant to find him. I have taught him lots of sign language but he has taught me so much more. He is possibly the best dog ever. I don't care that he snores and farts all the time!
Human companions: Tenelle, Adam and their Daughter
Other pets: 2 hearing dogs, turtle, fish, rats.

Town: Port Augusta, South Australia
Deaf dogs: Snoop is a 7 year old Staffyx. Out of 11 puppies to choose from, something made me choose him. I later heard that the other pups could all hear. We did not know he was deaf until he was about 1 year old and I took him to the vet for his needle and explained to the Dr that he had a high pitched bark and thats how we found out he was deaf.. I am such an animal lover that I guess it was meant to be that I chose him, because I love him and look after him so well.
Human companions: Doraleen Warrior, Partner and 2 children
