Florida Deaf Dogs

Town: Hilliard, Florida
Deaf dog: Oliver Wooly is a 9 year old Old English Sheepdog. Oliver knows about 40 signs in ASL, and is a therapy dog as well. He is a big love with such soulful eyes. We just love him! Sad to think the breeder was
considering having him put down due to deafness. I took him at 12 weeks, and 9 years later, we just couldn't imagine the family without him!

Dobbin Dodger is a 6 month old Old English Sheepdog. Dobbin is up to about 6 signs in ASL and growing. He is a handful right now, but then again, what puppy isn't! His blue eyes and big pink nose spell 'cute trouble!' We were looking for another deaf OES when we found Dobbin, he's Oliver's apprentice!.
Human companions: Stephanie George and Husband
Other pets: Mollie Shannon, a Wheaten Terrier mix & Lilliput Little, a Shih Tzu.

Deaf dog: Tacy is a 4 month old Whippet. We were looking for a playmate for our other Whippet when we learned about Tacy. She was the only deaf dog in her litter. We brought her home when she was just a few days shy of 9 weeks old. She graduated puppy kindergarten and we are looking forward to lure coursing her once she's old enough. She loves playing with her Whippet sister and snuggling with Mom and Dad.
